Lg will Produce Mobile Processor Based on ARM

LG Electronics will be producing processors "soon".

The rumors are coming that LG is going to manufacture their own processor like Samsung has done.
Technically, the SoC will be made by Taiwan's well-known TSMC, but they will feature  LG ARM-based design. Right now we don't know very much about the processor for sure, but rumors point at it being based on four 2.2GHz Cortex-A15 cores, and four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The GPU is rumored to be a PowerVR Series 6 going to use ARM big little Architecture.

The Korea Herald claims that the LG G3 could be the first device to emerge with the LG chipset,  Then again, it is might be possible  that the G3 will launch with an LG self made processor in its homeland of South Korea, while the global version will receive its Snapdragon 801/805-powered incarnation. The same thing is also done by the samsung (Exynos Series) also they might made processors for low to mid rannge phones with lower configration different then specified above. click here for more details
