It seems that Samsung is trying to fulfill needs of all types of customers.The customers Those who need environmental proof phone for them they launched galaxy active that having IP67 rating (Dust and Water Resistant).Possible we may see active variant of S5 in future
And those who loves premium build quality for them Samsung is launching premium version of S5 rumored as Galaxy S5 Prime which will comes in aluminum frame.
The Samsung also do not want to left behind in term of latest specs so they are launching this phone with QHD display we will see either it is AMOLED or LCD .
Futher specs that was confirmed through GFX Bench was same as S5 (Snapdragon 805 Soc with quad core krait clocked at 2.5 GHz aderno 420 with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM)
We think that Samsung is trying to give every feature to their costumers it is trying to give unique feature like Sony Flagship has (Dust and water resistant) by launching galaxy active.
Also it is trying to make Premium phone like HTC more premium build qaulity .
lets see sales will show how well S5 prime will able to compete with it's main rival HTC m8 and upcoming Iphone 6.
